The Fair

We took Keagan to the fair Monday night. Last year he didn't like the rides, but this year it was completely different. He had a lot of fun.

The first thing we saw when we went through the gate was the Kubota tractor exhibit. Keagan would have been content to just play on the tractors and gators and not see anything else.

Trying out the backhoe.

We were finally able to get away from the tractors and see some animals.

Being very easy with the baby duck.

He loved being in the pen with the goats.

Cecil finally got the horse to come over where Keagan could reach him.

Last year this was the only ride he rode and he did not like it. This year he wanted to ride. Everytime we came around Cecil would try to take a picture of us, but Keagan would turn his head the other way. I think this picture was before the ride started.

Riding the "digger".

He really liked this ride.

Him and another boy riding the train. Kegan was in charge of ringing the bell.

Playing Outside

Keagan loves to playoutside. The mosquitos have been really bad after we got 9 inches of rain. Cecil was able to spray the yard the other day, so yesterday when we got home from school, Keagan went out the play.

Going across the monkey bars.

Up the rockwall.

When Keagan sits up here, Cooper barks at him and tries to go up the stairs to get him.

Cooper making sure Keagan is ok.

Keagan loves his dogs.

Blowing dandelions.

After he got his swingset, we could not get him to swing. One day Cecil finally got him on there, but then he fell out. It took us forever to get him to swing again. Now he loves it.

He told me he was checking the oil in his tractor.

Then he had to check the tire pressure.

Going up the slide the wrong way.

Writing

One of the things Keagan enjoys doing right now is writing his name. He likes for me to write the letters and he will say them with me. He will also get the pencil or whatever we are writing with and "write" my name, Cecil's name, his name, and the dogs' names. Today I was making some name papers for my kids for school and he wanted to write his name too.

Working so hard.

On the left says "Valentine" and on the right is "Cooper"

I know, I know, I know...he is naked again. We got home from church this morning and he had to strip down before he could take a nap.

We were practicing drawing shapes on the back. He can identify them, so I thought we would practice drawing them.

Cody's Birthday Party

Some of our friends little boy (I guess he isn't really "little" since he turned 8) had a birthday party on Saturday. He had a blow-up bouncer thing. (Don't know exactly what they are called). Keagan was not real sure about it when we first got to the party, but after about 5 minutes he was ready to jump. He had a lot of fun jumping. He told me he wanted one at his party.

Going in.

Watch out Cody! Here I come.

He thought that was fun.

Going down Cody's slide.

Such a sweet boy. Sharing with baby Joshua.

He LOVED Cody's monkey. We may have to make a trip to Bear Castle to let him make one.

Petting Spot.

I had to take a picture of my boys taking a nap. I just loved how Keagan had his hand.
****Aunt Heather-Do you believe me now that Keagan does wear clothes sometimes? I know there are very few pictures of him with clothes on, but he does wear them. When we are at home he loves to just be in his underwear-thats even how he sleeps. I figure as long as he keeps them on when we are in public, he's ok.

Legos

One of Keagan's favorite things to play with is his legos. He will sit and build for a very long time. His favorite thing to do is to build a fence and put all of his tractors inside. He even makes doors that he closes when he has all the tractors in. He also likes to make roads for them to drive on. He has a great imagination and loves playing with them. This is the best present that Santa brought him.

Trying to build a bridge, but it kept falling.

Make a road.

Cupcake

One of the little girls that goes to the same babysitter as Keagan had a birthday today. Keagan did not eat his cupcake today after lunch, so he brought it home and had it when we got home from school. Here are some pictures of him enjoying it.

Eating the icing.

Big bite.

Had to show you the icing on his nose.

He was "cutting" the cupcake with the decoration from the top of the cupcake.
