Science Spectrum

Here are some pictures of our trip to the Science Spectrum last week. We took Keagan here for the first time over Spring Break and he loved it. We bought a membership, so I have a feeling Keagan and I will be spending a lot of time there this summer.

My little dinosaur.

Future career with Aunt Heather???

He loves the water table. This is where we spend most of our time there.

POTTY TRAING UPDATE: Keagan continues to do well. He went back to the babysitter on Tuesday and did not go at all at her house all week. I was a little disappointed about it, but I just keep telling myself he has really just started. He hasn't had any accidents at home, so I can't complain. I am done with school now, so hopefully with me being home all summer he will get better.

Potty Training

During Spring Break, I began trying to potty train Keagan. He would tell us when he was wet or poopy, so we knew it was time. We bought him a chair that plays music when you go. He would sit on the potty for me all the time, but he would never go. We would sit there and read books and talk, but nothing ever happened. I didn't want to press the issue too much and make him not want to try at all. There is a little girl at the babysitter that is a few days younger than him who had been going, so we were telling him he had to be big like Audrey. I had told him if he went in the potty I would take him to the park and to the Science Spectrum. Then Friday night it happened. He went for the first time!!! We made a big deal about him going. So Saturday my mom and I took him to the park and Science Spectrum. He did really well on Saturday and on Sunday he only had one accident the whole day. We had bought him some Cars and baseball underwear and he has been wearing them. I am really surprised how well he is doing. He will stop playing and say he needs to go. I didn't think that would come until later. I hope it goes as well tomorrow when he goes to the babysitter. I will post some pictures from the Science Spectrum later.

My big boy!!!

He loves to flush.
